The long-awaited journey,

Strategically well-planned,

On-going preparations,

Getting closer with time,

The journey was halted,

Just like a bloom that never bloomed,

Commitments and responsibilities,

Came first before the voyage,

Scenic moments and travelogues,

Postings on social media,

Kept the spirit going,

Though far, closer by heart,

The time is yet to come,

For this yearning soul,

For a spiritual journey,

That’s meant for this life.
