‘Sinkin’ is a poem by Mohd Fikri Bin Osin, a lover of poetry from Malaysia.
Walking across the border,
the touch of the sea water,
the smell of lavender.
And its almost midnight,
I’m coming back from that fight,
I lay on my bed and I miss my cat.
Looking through the window,
thinking about tomorrow.
Looking at the night sky,
and I wonder why.
I close my eyes and I hear your name in my ears,
I open my eyes and I’m sinkin’ in my own tears.
