A terrible bombardment
Echoes till the ridges.
The God of thunder is
Having his feast.
Skewering the Earth with
His magnificent lightning bolt.
A heinous weapon that
Blinds the living creatures,
And turns the
Grounds into ashes.
Why this gluttony?
Why this fury?
It must be a foolish mortal
Who dared to defy the Father.
The dimwit they call a hero.
To enrage the most revengeful
And the highest in the Heaven.
Is to invite a disaster
Without proportion.
To appease the mightiest Olympian
Is a want of our time.
To refuse the supplication
Marks the end of our time.
Citizen of Athens!
Cast your hero out and
Be merry till ripe age.
Shelter the rebel and you
Shall bring ruin to your home.
The cost of revolution
Is onerous.
The path to freedom
Is ceaseless.
The Father does not tire.
Those who resist him
Will be slaughtered.
Choose your battles wisely!
Struggle to become Kings,
And build empires that
History shall remember.
The Gods bless the
Best of men.
Aspire to become a God;
You will be mutilated and
Your corpses thrown into Hades.
The Gods are merciless
To usurpers.
Zeus will host no man.
Decide the price of your lives!
