There once was a girl
with an Ocean inside of her.
But thought she knew better
because she was an Anchor.
Cast into the depths of the Earth
Steadfast in her old rusty ways
Withstanding firmly the
currents of Change.
A rebel at heart,
Demolishing anything in her path-
She pushes and drags
resisting the Turbulence
Her past hastily calls
Its wounds live on pungently
Scoured memories flow easily
Beckoning her to stay.
Until she Surrendered-
To the echoes of her soul
Be here, Now, Let go
Her Present – told her so.
Now she leads the Waves
Of Uncertainty, with Clarity
Drifting purposefully
Free, her life is her Own.
