I was in a room like any other.
Yet something was different
about this one;
Doors became arms that beckon,
Tags became names that knit onto my heart,
Chairs mould into hugs,
Floors open into portals-
I travel through emotions
to stationary spaces.
Frozen moments where I
danced with my Intentions
drowned in my Afflictions
Broke-free through my Confessions.
A room just like any other instead
Tranquillity is one’s advancement
I moved with a sea of people
calm, safe presence
of safety nets,
cradles of Love
to sink into, to trust
the energy and with it relinquish fear.
To be free and alive,
constantly in wonder at Life’s design-
I was in a room like any other
Casting goals and drawing up
visions of Endless potential
and possibilities align
to take flight –
Distance is a state of mind
How far are you willing to go
How high are you willing to climb
Room, like no other,
do I stay in
Or have I always been out-
