Of Giggling Girls and Jericho by Amizura Hanadi

Just like cold wind that suddenly made its way
into the room through the cracks on the windowsills
a song triggered a forgotten memory
of two little girls…
running in circles with their dog in the garden

Sweet Jericho was once a puppy…
that evolved into a big fluffy handsome dog
a gentle giant whose tongue always sticking out
and its tail wagging in excitement
eagerly waiting for pets from his two young friends
his barks, their giggles and laughs
resonated into memories…
