I love equally my
red, white, yellow,
purple and beige
hibiscus.
Each unique.
Each variant.
Each impeccable.
None the fairer,
None the better,
All beautiful and desired.
All I tend.
All I nurture.
All I gaze upon
with full requited love.
I care not
which arrived first
into my garden.
