In an age without melody
the cave man stood
by a craggy mountain
in a peaceful wood,
and he saw the violet
of the glimmering Amethyst
near the mineral’s beauty
and the backwoods’ silence.
He found a Quartz
from the cluster of raw minerals,
and he rubbed with his bare hands
that were rough and dry…
Then the age without melody
was changed indeed
by the expertise of the cave man
with the minerals of the mother earth.
