Time is slow. A few minutes separate me
from you. Are you waiting for me, counting
the seconds, like me? What will happen when
the time comes? Can I hide my feelings,
my happiness? My mask hides my smile
but I can’t hide my eyes. They will show you.
My voice will expose me, charged
by longing. I’m afraid I will let myself down.
Oh to be with you now. I miss you. It’s spring
and you are the spring in my life. Oh my smile.
Let me smile forever. No one will see it.
Not even you. My voice will tell of my smile.
Will you like it? Maybe you wont show it.
Maybe you will be happy. Yet hide it from me.
