Mwaffaq Alhajjar

I am Mwaffaq Alhajjar, a Syrian poet, performer engineer, and educator who has been living in KL since 2016. I was the winner of the 2017 Migrant and Refugee Poetry competition. I debuted on the Malaysian stage in a production of Nassim Soleimanpour’s Blank in 2019. I have also performed poetry on different stages and events in KL and Penang, And have recently debuted my poetry collection Poetic Entropy via Gerakbudaya.
