Muthu Nedumaran is a software developer who also designs fonts. He is especially credited for creating the Tamil MN and Tamil Sangam MN fonts which paved the way for other Indic and Indochina scripts such as Devanagari, Bengali and Burmese writings.

He continues to be influential in developing writing systems for Indic languages since starting since the 1980s.
