In 2019 he was awarded a Fellowship by the Asia Center Foundation to pursue a long-term research project on railway culture in Indonesia and Japan.
His extensive experience with documenting marginal identities compels him to write stories that explore the depth of human experiences and vulnerabilities.
His debut feature documentary The Dreamers explores the truths and falsehoods in filmmaking in Malaysia.
