Laila Hairani Abdullah Sanggura

I was retired recently. My last post was a teacher-educator of which I had served for 20 years in an Institute of Teacher Education. This was out of the 38 years in public service.  I started writing poems when I was 16 years old and as a part time hobby. I have had some of my poems published such as in ‘The New Thrill’ (a local newspaper in 1981 and 1982), ‘Voice of IPGKBA’ (my former institute’s annual newsletters) and poetry anthology publications by The International Library of Poets. Over the years, some of my poems were also used as stimuli for language teaching purposes.
