Jayati Roy has been writing poems for more than 30 years and is only letting them slowly peak out of their hiding place now. She has also written and published short stories and many are also ready to come out of hiding. Jayati, who has travelled widely speaks six languages and says that writing is a passion that has helped her transcend borders and reach destinations unheard of.
