Faizati Mohd Ali is a lawyer by profession and draws cartoons in her free time. She posts most of her work on social media platforms through her page ‘By Faizati’ since 2018.

Faizati has been drawing cartoons since her teenage years and had previously contributed her work to local humor magazines such as Gila-Gila and Gelihati. As for now, she mainly draws cartoons to express herself and as a response to issues in society that she feels strongly about such as gender inequality, social injustice and discrimination.

Her first cartoon collection “Menghayun Buaian Menggoncang Dunia” was published by Sisters In Islam in 2019. She had recently participated in the ‘Asean Human Rights  Cartoon Exhibition’ organized by Zunar and collaborated with UNFPA Malaysia for a series of comics dealing with various issues concerning women and children.
