Chacko Vadaketh is an actor, voice-over artist and host. He has appeared in shows on CBS, Cinemax, BBC, Channel 4, USA, TV3, Mediacorp, Viu and HBO. He has narrated documentaries on History Channel, Nat Geo and hosted/moderated for Astro and in Los Angeles, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangalore and for a number of virtual webinars and events during the pandemic. He has voiced advertising campaigns and animation characters. He trains using acting skills in the workplace for individuals, multinationals and NGOs.

He is known for playing Sabo Singh in Singapore sitcom Mr Kiasu, the villain in Netflix movie Princess of Mars and for being the host of the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel Awards held annually in Los Angeles. He is currently appearing on Keluarga Baha Don on Viu, Co-Hosting on Boleh! The Podcast and voicing a number of corporate videos and commercials. Road to Nationhood, a mini-series that he narrates for the History Channel, is available on Astro on Demand. He will be appearing in Adrian Teh’s latest feature The Assistant which is in post production.

He read Law and Archaeology & Anthropology at Pembroke College, Cambridge and is a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn. He was a medico-legal litigator with Shearn Delamore and chaired the Law & Ethics Committee of the Malaysian AIDS Council.

He is on the board of Rimau that aims to save the critically endangered Malayan Tiger, of AngsanaCare that helps with the mental wellbeing of very ill children in government hospitals and of the Oxford & Cambridge Society of Malaysia. He has studied acting at the New School in New York and at Carter Thor Studios, Los Angeles.
