Abhi Arumbakkam

Abhi Arumbakkam is an independent writer-theatre maker who resuscitated her creative practice after a decade-long hiatus. During the pandemic, she was commissioned by Farnham Maltings to
create a community-based theatre project, by Electric Dreams to produce her own writing and by The Photographer’s Gallery for an Arts Council-funded project.

Last year, Abhi completed a Masters degree in Documentary from Royal Holloway graduating with distinction. Recently, she was selected for Stage 2 of Perform Europe call out to artists from 40
countries. Abhi currently hold a Fellowship from Farnham Malting and works part-time at Resource Productions – a film and training social enterprise project managing a £180K arts-film project funded by Rothschild Foundation.
