Malini Lakshmi Bai

Malini Lakshmi Bai was born in Kuala Lumpur. Growing up, she was captivated with literature and this interest led to some early exposure to reading since she was drawn to stories related to culture and tradition. The young Malini wanted to be a writer from an early age. She wrote her first short story at the age of twelve – a story about a Rottweiler, called ‘Starboy’. Later, Malini, who now teaches English and Malay at the secondary level, developed a passion for creative ideas. She started to write and has written interesting short stories. Some of the short stories have been published on several online portals and also in anthologies.
